Ending of a much needed break. :(

Well, today is the beginning of the end of a much needed break for all of us. Today, after over a week of being off work for Christmas Randy will be going back to work. :( I am so disappointed but all good things must come to an end, right? We have had fun on our break though. Christmas was a blast with all the kiddos! We all loved the snow. Unfortunately, mom was in the hospital during the break. She is home and starting to do better now. I think just being in her own home helps! We have played games as a family during the break which I think brought us all closer. :) We even figured out how to download old school nintendo games on the Wii. I know we are so far behind the times since we have had the wii since February. lol I think the main thing we have used it for is Netflix until this break. We have ate way too much also and just enjoyed being together as a family! But unfortunately Randy goes back to work tonight, and that is just the beginning. The girls will all be going back to school on Tuesday. Eli and I will start back at school on Wednesday. Randy starts back at school on Jan. 10. I am vowing that even though life will be busier for the next several months I will not let it get in the way of "family time". We will take that time to sit down together and play a game or watch a movie or all just go out and do something together! We can not just wait for "breaks" to take a moment to enjoy our time together!! So yes, it is the beginning of the end of a break but it will not be the beginning of the end of family time for us!
