What happened to Christmas!!

I just have to ask, what happened to Christmas this year??? It came and went so fast!! I guess Randy and I were busy most of December but it just seemed to go so fast this year! We usually do a shopping day together and that didn't happen. Actually, we did do the Black Friday thing but that is it. We didn't do our annual date day of shopping together. I didn't got into a baking frenzy. I did make some fudge and a few candies but didn't make tons of cookies and such. Maryjo, however, did get into some baking. We didn't even take family Christmas pictures this year! I am actually quite shocked that I did get out and shop at all and things did get wrapped!! Poor Gracie's birthday kinda got put off to the wayside this year. I have decided that we are going to start celebrating her bday in the beginning of December from now on so this doesn't happen again. It has happened a couple times but this year due to Randy's work schedule it was put off to Christmas Eve and with the festivities and traditions of Christmas Eve her birthday was not much of a celebration at all. I feel horrible!!!!!! She really wanted Randy to be there for gifts and such though so we waited. Still with all of this it just feels like Christmas, Gracie's birthday and everything else with the season just flew by and we missed part of it. On a good note we did have a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas morning! I am going to be making yummy meatball subs and other yummy snacks for New Years Eve and hopefully that holiday won't pass us by! I will work harder not to let the holidays and birthdays get away from us. I will also post more on our fun Christmas morning later!
